HANFORD, Calif. — A coordinated law enforcement operation in Hanford resulted in six arrests and the recovery of a missing child during compliance checks conducted on individuals under supervised release.

According to the Hanford Police Department, officers from the Street Crimes Unit (SCU), Detective Unit, and HART Team partnered with the California Division of Adult Parole Operations and the Kings County Probation Department on June 19 to conduct parole and probation compliance checks throughout the city.

Authorities said officers safely carried out the operation and made arrests based on violations of supervised release conditions and other criminal offenses. In addition to the arrests, officers also located and recovered a missing child from the Kings County area.

Police stated that the operation highlights the continued cooperation between local and state law enforcement agencies in their efforts to combat crime and improve public safety.

  • Isaias Plata, 26
    • Obstructing a Peace Officer
    • Post Release Community Supervision Violation
  • Juan Vega, 20
    • Parole Violation Hold
  • Jose Enriquez, 22
    • Parole Violation Hold
  • Steven Cervantez, 34
    • Possession of Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Methamphetamine with Multiple Prior Drug Convictions
    • Post Release Community Supervision Violation
  • Nestor Silva, 37
    • Outstanding Arrest Warrant
  • Angel Galvan, 23
    • Possession of Methamphetamine
    • Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Sales
    • Committing a New Felony While Out on Bail
    • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Hanford Police also released a photograph showing methamphetamine allegedly possessed for sale by Galvan.
