HANFORD, Calif. — Representatives from Dentists of Hanford recently shared details about the dental office’s services, technology, and patient care approach during an interview discussing the growing practice in Hanford.

Prabhjot “JD” Dhillon, a registered dental hygienist at the office, said the business was established in 2023 and is located near the Target shopping center next to Wingstop and Panera Bread in Hanford.

Dhillon explained that he has worked in dental hygiene for approximately 12 years, while the office’s dentist has been practicing dentistry for about seven years.

According to Dhillon, the office accepts a large number of PPO and HMO insurance plans and currently offers a $59 new patient special that includes X-rays and an exam.

“We do have a lot of the specialty in house,” Dhillon said during the interview.

He explained that the office brings in an oral surgeon once a month along with a periodontal specialist, allowing patients to receive multiple services through the same dental office network.

Dhillon also discussed several forms of technology used at the practice that he says help improve patient care and diagnosis.

“We take 3D X-rays for the patients to diagnose more better quality,” he said, explaining that the technology helps staff make more informed treatment decisions.

The office also offers laser treatment for certain dental cleaning procedures, which Dhillon said can help address inflammation during treatment.

“So that’s why we’re a little bit different than all of the other offices,” he said.

During the interview, Dhillon described the process for new patients as simple and convenient. He said patients can call the office directly to schedule appointments and that the office works to provide availability as quickly as possible.

The office also emphasizes same-day dentistry services, including same-day crowns completed in-house.

“Sometimes the patient takes a day off,” Dhillon explained. “That’s why we like to do the same-day dentistry.”

He added that treatment options are discussed with patients based on their individual dental needs and financial situation.

Dentists of Hanford says its goal is to provide accessible dental care while combining newer technology with patient convenience for residents throughout the Hanford area.
