VISALIA, Calif.
An event in Visalia featuring internet personality Adin Ross drew a massive turnout over the weekend, with attendees reporting long delays, safety concerns, and widespread confusion both outside and inside the venue. While the event attracted people from across the region, many attendees say poor organization and crowd management issues overshadowed what was expected to be a major giveaway and fan experience.
In the hours and days following the event, conflicting claims made on livestreams and social media have added to the controversy, prompting questions about planning, communication, and what actually occurred.
Attendees Began Camping More Than 24 Hours in Advance
According to multiple attendees, people began lining up and camping outside the venue as early as Saturday, more than a full day before the Sunday event scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Some individuals reported waiting overnight, believing that being among the first in line would increase their chances of receiving prizes or cash giveaways.
By Sunday afternoon, the crowd had grown significantly. Attendees described hundreds of people packed tightly near the entrance, with no clearly marked lines, barricades, or structured waiting areas. Instead, people stood shoulder to shoulder, attempting to hold their position as more attendees arrived.
Several attendees said the lack of organization made movement difficult, especially for families and younger attendees, and increased concerns about safety.
Doors Delayed as Crowd Surges Continued
When doors were expected to open around 4 p.m., entry did not begin as planned. Attendees said that each attempt to open the doors resulted in crowd surges toward the entrance, forcing staff to stop the process.
Security personnel were observed repeatedly instructing the crowd to move back from the doors. According to attendees, security warned that entry could not begin unless more space was created. Those instructions were reportedly repeated multiple times over the course of more than an hour.
Many people said they refused to move, fearing they would lose their place after waiting for so long. As a result, the crowd remained compressed near the entrance and entry continued to be delayed.
Visalia Police Department Assists With Crowd Control
As conditions outside worsened, officers from the Visalia Police Department arrived to assist with crowd control. Officers issued repeated instructions for the crowd to move back and worked to create safer conditions for entry.
Numerous attendees later stated that Visalia Police did a phenomenal job given the circumstances. Several people described officers as calm, professional, and focused on preventing injuries, despite being called into a situation that already lacked clear crowd control infrastructure.
Missing Child Reported During Prolonged Delays
During the extended wait outside, a 12-year-old girl was reported missing for approximately 45 minutes, according to multiple attendees.
While some individuals expressed concern, many attendees remained focused on attempting to get inside the venue. The child was later located, and no serious injuries related to her disappearance were reported.
Several attendees later described the incident as deeply concerning and said it highlighted the risks of hosting a large-scale event without a structured and controlled entry process.
Warning Issued From the Roof
Around 6 p.m., Adin Ross appeared on the roof of the building and addressed the crowd. According to attendees, he warned that the event could be shut down entirely if people did not move back and allow security to regain control of the entrance area.
Despite the warning, attendees said crowd movement remained limited and delays continued.
Entry Begins Hours After Scheduled Start
Entry into the venue eventually began later in the evening, though attendees described the process as slow and inconsistent. Some reported waiting from early afternoon until well into the evening before being admitted.
Multiple attendees stated that the last groups were not allowed inside until approximately 7:45 to 8 p.m., nearly four hours after the scheduled start time. By that point, many people said they were exhausted, frustrated, or chose to leave without ever entering.
Wristbands and Giveaway Expectations Inside the Venue
Once inside, attendees were given wristbands as part of the event’s giveaway system. Many said they believed prizes or cash giveaways would occur shortly after entry.
Instead, attendees reported learning that wristbands would be used for random drawings, requiring them to remain inside for an extended period to be eligible. Several people stated they chose to leave after realizing prizes were not guaranteed.
Gold Wristband Holders Describe Backstage Removal and Abrupt Shutdown
Multiple attendees who received gold wristbands described a similar sequence of events inside the venue after giveaways began.
According to these attendees, individuals initially received blue wristbands upon entry. Numbers were later displayed on a screen, and those selected were upgraded to gold wristbands, which were described as making them eligible for prizes.
Several gold wristband holders stated that gifts were being handed out and that a U-Haul truck was being unloaded as part of the giveaway process. They said gold wristband recipients were then escorted away from the main event floor and taken to a waiting room in the back of the venue.
While waiting, attendees said they watched the event livestream and could still see giveaways continuing elsewhere inside the building. According to multiple accounts, someone later entered the waiting area and informed them that the situation inside had become too chaotic.
Attendees stated they were told that fights had broken out, that children had been hurt, and that the event was being shut down. They were also told that Adin Ross had already left the venue and that everyone in the waiting area needed to exit.
Several of those attendees expressed frustration, stating that they believed being moved backstage caused them to miss out on giveaways. Multiple people said they had been near the front earlier and felt they would have had a higher chance of receiving prizes had they remained on the main event floor.
Livestream Claims and Attendee Disputes
Following the event, Adin Ross stated during a livestream on the platform Kick that he cashed out people who had been waiting in line for extended periods. During that livestream, Ross claimed individuals received amounts ranging from $1,000 to $750 to $500.
However, those claims were quickly disputed by attendees across social media, particularly through SameDayClips posted on TikTok. In those videos and comment sections, multiple individuals stated they had waited 18 to 24 hours or longer and did not receive any money.
Several commenters said they were among the first in line and received nothing. Others stated that even individuals who received gold wristbands did not ultimately receive prizes or cash before the event was shut down.
Questions Remain About Planning and Communication
As of the time of publication, no official statement had been released addressing the crowd delays, the missing child incident, the reported fights, or the conflicting claims surrounding giveaways and cash payouts.
Many attendees stated the event had strong potential but was undermined by poor organization outside the venue and unclear communication throughout the day. Others said the experience raised serious questions about planning, crowd management, and safety protocols for large public events in Visalia.

Below are videos shared publicly by attendees documenting their firsthand experiences at the event, along with the livestream clip in which Adin Ross stated that money was given to people who waited at the front of the line.
