During surgery, doctors reportedly discovered the situation was more serious than originally believed and found what appeared to be a tumor affecting Rudy Lopez’s spleen.

The Lopez family later confirmed that Rudy Lopez has been diagnosed with lymphoma and has completed his first round of chemotherapy treatment.
