HANFORD, Calif. β A Hanford man has been arrested following an investigation into suspected child sexual abuse material, according to the Hanford Police Department.
Police say the investigation began after detectives received a cybertip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program regarding the alleged downloading of child sexual abuse material through a social media application.
During the investigation, detectives identified a residence in the 900 block of Heartwood Way that was believed to be connected to the reported activity.
On April 29, detectives with the Hanford Police Department served a search warrant at the residence. Authorities say several individuals were interviewed during the operation, and electronic devices were seized as evidence.
As a result of the investigation, 24-year-old Isaac Espinoza was arrested on charges related to possession of child pornography under California Penal Code section 311.11. He was later booked into the Kings County Jail.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing and additional information may be released as the case develops.
