HANFORD, Calif. (July 16, 2025)
One of Hanford’s most loved eateries, Happy Eats, has quietly closed its doors, leaving a wave of sadness among loyal customers who cherished its home-style cooking and the heartwarming hospitality of owner Sarah.
Known for her incredible customer service and a staff that felt like family, Sarah built more than just a restaurant. She created a place where people gathered, laughed, and always felt welcomed. But despite the love from the community, Happy Eats could not survive the pressures of a tough economy.
“It hurts to see it go,” said one regular. “Sarah and her team were always amazing. The food was great, and the service made you feel like you were part of something.”
Now, a new chapter is beginning in the same location. Pho Station, a Vietnamese restaurant, is stepping in with plans to offer a fresh and flavorful menu filled with a variety of traditional and modern pho dishes. The grand opening is set for Monday, July 29, 2025, and the hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
While nothing can replace the memories made at Happy Eats, Pho Station hopes to honor the spirit of community and warmth that Sarah left behind. With rich broths, bold ingredients, and an inviting setting, the new owners aim to become part of the neighborhood just as quickly.
Pho Station invites everyone to come experience something new, while remembering the place that came before. One door closes, another opens, and Hanford’s food scene continues to grow.
