HANFORD, CA — A fatal home invasion robbery in Hanford’s Holt Avenue neighborhood has led to five arrests involving gang-related activity and firearm charges, according to a press release issued by the Hanford Police Department.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on April 18, 2025, when officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Holt Avenue. At the scene, police found 20-year-old Nana Jeff Silva with a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.

Extensive Investigation Uncovers Suspect Network

Detectives from the Hanford Police Department and members of the Street Crimes Unit (SCU) initiated an intensive investigation. Authorities conducted numerous interviews, reviewed surveillance footage, pursued leads, and authored over 50 search warrants.

This effort ultimately identified five suspects believed to be responsible for the killing. The department collaborated with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Kings County Sheriff’s Office, and Lemoore Police Department to execute a series of coordinated operations.

Firearms Recovered During Arrest Operations

Multiple firearms were recovered during the arrest operations, resulting in further weapons-related charges against several individuals.

The following suspects were arrested and charged:

  • Dominic Spain (22): Charged with homicide (187 PC), home invasion robbery (213(a)(1)(a) PC), conspiracy (182(a)(1) PC), gang participation (186.22(a) PC), and firearm violations (29820(b) PC, 30305 PC)

  • Gerald Villasenor (19): Charged with homicide, robbery, conspiracy, and gang enhancement

  • Aiyana Jeff (22): Charged with robbery, conspiracy, and being an accessory (32 PC)

  • Unidentified Juvenile (17): Charged with homicide, robbery, conspiracy, and gang participation

  • Unidentified Juvenile (17): Also charged with homicide, robbery, conspiracy, and gang participation

Investigation Ongoing

According to the Hanford Police Department, the investigation remains open, and additional leads are being pursued.
