Michael Borges, a loyal customer for over 30 years, shared his heartfelt appreciation:
“Greg, I just saw this announcement, and my heart sank a little… then it filled right back up with 30+ years of memories. Sanchez Feed & Seed isn’t just a store to me — it’s where I’ve walked in a hundred times rushed and stressed, and somehow always left laughing, with exactly what I needed and a story to tell. You’ve been there through the good years and you’ve carried me through the rough ones when I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it— always with good advice, a fair price, and never once making me feel small for needing help. That’s not a business, brother… that’s a legacy.”

In addition to the emotional tributes, many have expressed their gratitude for the invaluable advice and service they received at the store. Rudy Banuelos also took to Facebook to wish Greg well:
“Congratulations on your retirement Greg Sanchez 👏 My father late Rudy Banuelos Sr. and I enjoyed working with you. Take care and God Bless!”

Another customer, Phillip Mello, shared a memory from his childhood:
“You guys were my favorite scale to weigh my hay truck and come in to say hello and have a laugh! I remember being a lil boy coming in with my siblings. Our favorite thing to do was to run to the back to see the baby chicks and rabbits. Thank you for all the memories! God bless you all.”

The closing of Sanchez Feed & Seed marks the end of an era for the community. For many, it was a place that served more than just a commercial purpose; it was a hub of connection, support, and memories.
